A ripe and self-confident tannic cabernet with enough freshness to carry all the power. Yet the nose is quite restrained with notes of dried mint and graphite with restrained blackberry fruit. Excellent interplay of dried herbs, fine tannins and richness in the long finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is concentrated and minty, just as we would expect from the Coonawarra terroir. It has loads of cocoa, dark cooking spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla pod, cloves) and a profusion of black berries of all kinds. This is varietal, fresh, firm. 14.5% alcohol, sealed under Stelvin.
